Katana Zero is a very strong and innovative new indie game. In this video I take a look at what makes it such an impressive step forward for the medium. A focus is on the intersection and combination of game mechanics and story, Katana Zero does a great job in bringing these two factors together which has some wonderful results.
The University of Technology Sydney hosted a showcase of games from this semester’s first-and-second-year game design classes. There were also a few personal projects on display. I’m a huge fan of indie games, so getting to chat in person with local developers was exciting.
Sekiro is different from the beloved Dark Souls, but still interesting and unmistakably a modern FromSoftware title.
